Currently, a diverse range of people already live together in local communities. At Orbis, rather than the minority unilaterally conforming to the majority (``enter the village and follow the village''), the majority strives to create a new society and adapt, aiming for a society in which no one is left behind. I think it is necessary to continue.

ORBIS is an exchange between citizens connected to foreign countries and Japanese citizens who live in the same local community. We will create a place to promote mutual understanding and deepen mutual understanding. Through ORBIS' activities, we aim to be a place where citizens with ties to foreign countries and Japanese citizens can connect, where citizens with ties to other countries can connect with each other, and where everyone can express themselves through words.

Additionally, we aim to provide a safe place for all participants.

This will contribute to the realization of a sustainable multicultural society.

The spirit of activity

  1. The members who are active in ORBIS are not ``teachers'' of something, but are members who work with other participants. They have a sense of being citizens who live together in the local community without forming hierarchical relationships.

  2. Members who are active at ORBIS believe that ``learning from each other'' allows them to ``change and grow themselves.''We believe that we can contribute to a multicultural society by doing so.

  3. Members who are active in ORBIS do what they can to the extent that they can.
